Nursing Career Exploration Camp
Nursing Career Exploration Camp features sessions focused on nursing care, the science behind many medical activities and even tours of area health care facilities. There will be opportunities for hands-on experiences and to hear from professionals in the field. Sessions will be led by South Dakota State University College of Nursing faculty, Black Hills State University Science faculty, and medical professionals from the Black Hills and the West River Area Health Education Center.
Registration Fee: $50
Day camps only, no overnight accommodations. Camps available for middle school students (those entering sixth to eighth grade in fall 2026) and high school students (those entering ninth to 12th grade in fall 2026).
