Training and Health Requirements

Teacher candidates who are preparing for student teaching in the Fishback Center for ECE are required to have a current physical, tuberculosis skin exam, be certified in both Pediatric First Aid and CPR and have completed the South Dakota Orientation to Child Care programs ten training modules, as well as the online DSS Child Abuse and Neglect Certificate of Completion.
