Future Professor of America (FPA) Fellowship for Three Years

Pawan Acharya has been awarded the FPA Fellowship, which supports his Ph.D. studies for three years. Special thanks to Jerome J Lohr College of Engineering for their support.

Acharya is from Nepal and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at South Dakota State University. His passion for concrete began in Nepal, where he conducted pioneering research identifying the presence of alkali-silica reaction in Nepali aggregates. Through his research, he aims to make the world a better place. Outside of his research, he enjoys watching series and playing table tennis.

Mohammad Teymouri is an assistant professor in the Department of Construction and Concrete Industry Management at South Dakota State University. His research interests focus on both methodological and empirical studies, and he aims to promote the durability and sustainable development of civil and construction materials.
