Biography
Takara Schomberg, MSN, R.N., is a certified nurse educator and certified health care simulation educator. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in nursing education from South Dakota State University. Her graduate thesis work explored self-care agency and self-care practices in nursing professionals. Her nursing background includes ambulatory care, functional medicine, gerontology and mental health nursing.
Her current academic interests include mental health, simulation, self-care and nursing education. She maintains professional memberships in several organizations on the local and national level.
