Biography
I envision a world where access to quality education transforms lives, regardless of background. My own journey as a first-generation student, beginning with teaching in Nepal immediately after completing 10th grade, has instilled in me a deep passion for education.
Over the past 30 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students of all ages, from pre-K through university level, while simultaneously leading a research group exploring a variety of areas from natural history to the molecular mechanisms of stress regulation in plants.
Leading by example, I am driven to inspire the next generation, proving through my own experience that education can break barriers and create lasting change.
