Design Studio
Building Description
Located west of Medary Avenue, this facility’s open floor plan lets students make, iterate, and work independently or collaboratively.
In this building, students learn and understand the foundations of good design. They learn about the principles of design and the visual element as part of their first-year curriculum. The School of Design sets a platform for progression in various stages within 2D and 3D work, from concept to completion, for students interested in pursuing majors in architecture, graphic design, interior design, landscape architecture and studio art. Design 121 is led by studio art faculty members.
